Pamela Scott - Diamondwave.com Comment by Pamela Scott - Diamondwave.com on November 24, 2009 at 12:06pm
Hello- My Name is Pamela Scott, I am from Kirkland I am president of www.diamondwave.com which is a New York/Kirkland based diamond web site, I work from home and I run this website nationwide, however with 464 other jewelry websites and Bluenile in my back yard it hasn’t been an easy task. We are privately owned we are not backed by big time investors.
My story is I was the Special Order diamond buyer for Costco Wholesale, I was with the company for over 18 yrs and one day another competitor made me a career changing offer that I couldn’t refuse I assumed I would be with this company for another 18 years – well some things just don’t appear to be what they say they are....so after 9 months I found myself with out a job. However what Costco did teach me is to always have integrity and if you have this you will go far – then one day I got a call to do some consulting for a company named Diamondwave, they needed someone to oversee all the merchandise that was to be offered on Diamondwave... well after 2 years they couldn’t get the site launched so the Sold It! The fine folks who decided to buy it didn’t want to run it so they asked me to be the front person on all aspects of the company.
I am president, marketing manager, fraud patrol, and customer service. We launched our site in April of 2009 now its time to get out of the house and start letting people see what we have. Over my computer sits a sign that was in a fortune cookie...”Always take a job bigger than you.”
Thanks taking the time to read this, I know when I start socializing with others running a business this won't seem so tough.

Hi, I am Susan Evans, a new member of the Eastside Entrepreneurs. I look forward to meeting you and networking with you. I retired as a school librarian in Dover DE and moved out here to be closer to kids and their families. My passion is working with those who want to assume responsibility for their own health andteaching them how to do so in a noninvasive, healthy way. It is time we all consider this journey.

Leading-edge, proven wellness programs, services, products and technologies will support your personal and/or workplace wellness objectives. Good referrals include human resource directors, schools, libraries, and those challenged with health issues not helped with traditional western medicine.

For instance, if you know anyone who has foot challenges, please check this short video clip from a CBS affiliate in NYC: http://wcbstv.com/health/healthwatch.neuropathy.magnets.2.1132259.html Thank you for taking time to review this important information that may save the foot/leg of someone you know and love. I would welcome referrals.

I just found the "groups" button... cool stuff here!

I'm Kate with Total Wealth Coaching and, in an alternative universe, I'm also a professional singer songwriter. (You can listen at http://www.myspace.com/katephillipsmusic )

One of my group coaching programs is "for women only," a 10-week course in "Prosperity Training" called Living in Abundance. If you have a love-hate relationship with money, this is for you! Amazing what people can do when they focus on what they want and pull the weeds from their money relationship. Next class starts in Sept in Seattle, but I'd love to have an Eastside one soon. (Info at www.totalwealthcoaching.com)

I look forward to meeting more of you soon! I know a lot of you from eWomen or Biznik, I offer a lot of workshops through biznik.
