As the founder of what are now known as "PIF Parties," how could I not join Pam's awesome group?! Happy Thanksgiving all and I look forward to sharing my own Pay It Forward (or what I call "PIF") adventures in the near future!

I am collecting warm coats and blankets to donate to the Union Gospel Mission for Men, Women and Children and other various groups that reach out to the homeless - for the up coming cold months. If you would like to donate any that may be in the backs of your clostes not getting used please contact me or donate directly to the mission located at
3800 South Othello Street

Hello Pay it foward guru's - keep up the awesome work. There are so many ways to pay it forward. Think raising 'awareness' as a way of paying it forward. I love Helen's idea of giving people wellness tips. Here is one that should help everyone in this crazy H1N1 season. Boost the Vit D levels, eat lot's of garlic, and also one of the best spices in the world 'turmeric.'
Those are my tips for the week! Personally invest time in others for no other reason than that they are precious and valuable. Let's check the ulterior motives at the door when we befriend people.
Love you all.

I'm willing to help someone with care of a loved one, including seniors and children. I could provide some Respite care while you go out with your spouse or partner for an evening. Already found one taker at the Reinventing You seminar last week.

What a wonderful Pay-It-Forward week. This stuff really does work! Gave Blood yesterday, met with the City of Bellevue Community Service Coordinator to increase my involvement with helping people needing Comm Service, met with another PIF group member to help them with referrals for their business and spent some time with one of my Community Service people to help them with English and using a computer to help him with an on-line resume. This is so rewarding, thank God for this group and movement...I love it!

Nice Doug- a free offer to help with biz- is paying it forward! Just spent the afternoon with 100 women and at lunch we all gave one thing free to one attendee and asked for one thing to propel us ahead. Making pay it forward converts up and down the 1-5 corridor---spread the mojo- onward world changers!

I am excited to be a newbie in this group and I am looking forward to opportunities give and help someone. I have 30 years of experience in the business world working with small to large, and experience in leading groups of many different venues from church to sports and business and community. What can I help you with?

Well, I joined this group because I believe in Paying it Forward. My expertise is in the field of nursing which is not AT ALL what I am doing now! In fact I am "Reinventing Myself" as a Founder and Executive Director of a Non Profit Organization helping children who have been abused and neglected. Having said all that, I have a very good sense of health and wellness issues and am happy to recommend possible treatment paths for someone who wants to get their health back on track or functioning optimally. I tend to favor natural healing but recognize when someone may need allopathic support. I'll be back with other Pay It Forward thoughts later- gotta go- see the Storm whip the Sparks (I hope).
